Welcome to Vato Loco Productions Linux and the Gateway M280E Notebook /Tablet PC I recently have had access to a Gateway M280E notebook / tablet PC at work. It is a pretty nice machine but like most computers these days only comes with Microsoft Windows as the preloaded operating system. One of my tasks involved checking to see if I could install Linux on it, here is the write-up of my experiences doing so.

I think it is important that they read this article so they can see how THEIR Information Technology department stacks up to industry-wide statistics. -- Ben ]From my experience working in the information technology (IT) field the last 10 years, I feel that lack of diversity is still a big problem in IT. My anecdotal experience is that minorities, and to a lesser extent women, are under-represented in IT as a whole.The amount of under-representation varies depending on which area of IT you look at, and can range from near parity in some areas to a much higher level of under-representation in other areas. . SOLD -- 97 Nissan Pickup for saleI am selling my 1997 Nissan Pickup, a short-bed XE model. It is in good condition and only needs a little minor mechanical/body work. Houston's Museo Guadalupe Aztlan is now online I recently met Jesus Cantu Medel, M.Ed., the Director of a small cultural arts non-profit organization in Houston. Museo Guadalupe Aztlan was founded in March of 1994 and its mission is promote indigenous art to those in the Houston, Texas area, especially in traditionally underserved minority areas.
